 High capacity battery November 10, 2008
I like this battery because; it is high capacity, much better running time than the original battery, that came with Canon miniDV camcorder. Buy this if you are tired of charging the battery very soon.
Best battery ! November 6, 2008
Don't waste your time and money to get something 'similar' as Canon.
Only Canon battery will give you over an hour time!
I bought @ Amazon from other vendors non-canon made battery claiming more mA per battery and almost twice the size, but they last less that 30 minutes. Total waste of money on a non-Canon made battery.
I use this as a pro videographer and have to last as long as the tape in the machine.
It was cheaper here then anywhere else for the same battery.

My wife and I bought this battery when we bought our Canon HG10 and were very pleased that we did. This battery lasts about six times longer than the battery that comes with the camera. It is an absolute must by alongside a new video camera, so factor it in to your budget!
Long lasting battery. October 12, 2008
I bought this when I bought my Canon HG10 and it has noticeable longer life than the battery that came with the camera. I use this one has a primary and the one that came with it as a backup. Works great and lasts long.
Great replacement battery July 2, 2008
I bought the BP-2L14 as a replacement for the battery that came with my Optura camera. The standard battery never quite held a charge from the start and before long I would get a "battery warning" lamp right after turning on the camera. The longer life and no memory charging make this a great option for anyone looking for a backup battery.
