IT DOES THE JOB! LITTLE OVER PRICED FOR A PIECE OF PLASTIC MADE IN CHINA.
Fits great, not totally sure it does much... August 31, 2008
It fits great so if you think you need one go with this one over the expensive Canon version, but it's just so small it's hard to imagine it does much. But I guess if it prevents lens flare on that one great image in a lifetime it's worth it.
Excellent choice July 6, 2008
This hood works perfectly on my Canon 18-55mm lens that came as a bundle with my new Canon XTi. I recommend it; it works great, avoid sunlight to come directly to lens from the sides and also helps when some rain drops are falling. Also helps to protect the lenses from hitting any surface and it is light and very easy to assamble.
